Embark on an unforgettable motorcycle adventure through the stunning landscapes of Southern Portugal and Andalucia, where every twist and turn reveals a new marvel. Starting in the vibrant city of Lisbon, you’ll navigate along the picturesque coastal roads of the Algarve.



 

As you cross into Spain, the journey takes you to the historic city of Sevilla, where the rich tapestry of flamenco music and Moorish architecture will captivate your senses. The ride continues to the iconic Rock of Gibraltar, offering breathtaking views and a unique blend of British and Spanish cultures.



 

The adventure doesn’t stop there. Granada, with its majestic Alhambra Palace, and Cordoba, home to the stunning Mezquita, offer a deep dive into Spain’s rich history and culture.

Finally, the journey loops back to Lisbon, completing a circuit that is as exhilarating as it is beautiful.



 

From Gibraltar, the road winds through the enchanting town of Ronda, perched dramatically above a deep gorge. The curvy roads here are a motorcyclist’s dream, offering thrilling rides and panoramic vistas. Next, you’ll find yourself in the lively city of Malaga, where the vibrant nightlife and delicious food await.

Tour description:

Day 1:
Arrival Day : Upon your early arrival at Lisbon airport, we’ll head to the hotel for a refreshing breakfast. To acclimate to the time zone, we’ll tour the Sintra National Palace and the Sintra Pena Palace, showcasing Portugal’s glory and architectural detail. On our way back
to the hotel, we’ll stop at Torre de Belém and, if time permits, the Jerónimos Monastery. In theevening, we’ll enjoy dinner at a Fado restaurant, experiencing traditional Portuguese folk
music.
Day 2:
the Algarve: After picking up our motorcycles, we’ll quickly leave Lisbon via the A2, heading to Monte da Volta for a lunch break with typical Portuguese cuisine. We’ll then ride through the picturesque Monchique mountains to the Algarve coast, ending our day at our hotel in Carvoeiro by the beach.
Day 3:
Along the Algarve to Seville, Spain: We’ll start the day with a visit to Sagres Fortress, offering stunning views of the cliffs and the lighthouse by the Atlantic. From there, we’ll head to the idyllic town of Tavira for lunch, then ride along the coast to the border crossing into Spain, finishing the day in Seville.
Day 4:
Seville: Consider a Segway tour through Seville (1 hour, less than $40 per person). After that we’ll visit the Alhambra Palace, the Cathedral with La Giralda, walk through the Juderia, viist the Torre del Oro, and Plaza de España. The day will be filled with tapas tasting in small bars, ending with a late dinner (try Spain’s national dish, paella).
Day 5:
Views of Africa and Climb the Rock of Gibraltar: From Seville, we’ll ride towards Cádiz, from there close to the coast passing through small towns with photo opportunities. We’ll stop at the Mirador de Africa, the southernmost point in Spain, to see the Moroccan coastline (weather permitting). Then, we’ll move on to Gibraltar. Our hotel is just north of the border, where we’ll leave the bikes, dress down and take a taxi/Uber into Gibraltar to ride the cable car up the rock and meet the Barbary macaques.
Day 6:
Twisties to Magical Ronda and on to Historic Malaga: Leaving the coast, we’ll enjoy a day of cornering towards Ronda, Andalucía’s city of dreams, offering stunning views and great food opportunities. Refreshed, we’ll head to the port city of Malaga, ending the day with
sightseeing and a dinner at El Pimpi, Antonio Banderas’ restaurant in his hometown.
Day 7:
Picasso and Weaving to Granada: In the morning, we’ll visit the beautiful Malaga Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. After a quick lunch, we’ll leave the Mediterranean coast to take the mountain roads, passing by/ through several “white towns” before arriving in Granada.
Day 8:
Granada Sightseeing: We’ll start the day with a tour of the Arabic architectural jewels of the Generalife and the Alhambra, the last bastion of Moorish rule in Spain until 1492. The rest of the day will be spent exploring Granada’s historic city, including its cathedral with the Royal Chapel. If agreeable, we’ll attend a flamenco show in the afternoon ($23 per person) and a 3-hour tapas tour in the evening ($39 per person).
Day 9:
Sierra Nevada and Jaen: We’ll ride up into the Sierra Nevada to above 2500m/8200ft for breathtaking views. Then, we’ll take the curvy country roads to Jaen, staying at the Castillo de Santa Catalina.
Day 10:
From Jaen to Cordoba: On our way to Cordoba, we’ll stop in the old town of Alcaudete before taking the N-432 to our hotel in Cordoba, located next to the Mezquita- Cathedral and a short walk from the Juderia and its Calleja de las Flores. Old town Cordoba, a

Day 11:
From Cordoba to Evora, Portugal: We’ll start the morning with a walk over the Roman bridge to the Torre de la Calahorra for a photo opportunity, capturing the old Roman basis of Cordoba. On our way to Evora, we’ll stop for lunch in Merida, which still has a Roman bridge, aqueduct, and Roman theatre. In Evora, we’ll visit the Chapel of Bones and other attractions like Evora’s Roman temple.
Day 12:
Return Motorcycles in Lisbon: Upon arriving in Lisbon, we’ll return our motorcycles and refresh ourselves before visiting the old town of Lisbon, including the Alfama district and the S. Jorge Castle with its photo-worthy views. We’ll finish the day with a farewell dinner to celebrate the incredible experiences of this Southern Iberian motorcycle extravaganza.
Day 13:
Departure Day: Bid farewell as you catch your flight home from Lisbon Airport, taking with you the unforgettable memories of this incredible journey.
